AI-Enhanced Public Speaking: Storytelling & Performance

You know the moment. The cursor blinking on an empty page. The tightness in your chest before you step in front of a room. The speech you rehearsed in your head that somehow scatters the second people are watching.

For most of us, public speaking has always meant facing that fear alone. But what if you didn't have to?

The European School of Economics is launching a new executive program that rethinks how we prepare to speak: AI-Enhanced Public Speaking: Storytelling & Performance, created in collaboration with Matteo Zaralli and VoxCoachAI. The idea behind it is refreshingly clear — AI shouldn't speak instead of you. It should help you find your own voice faster, sharpen your ideas, and walk on stage ready.

Over three Friday sessions at ESE's Rome campus, in the heart of Piazza Navona, you move from page to stage. You'll start with the foundations of storytelling — why some stories grip an audience while others fall flat — and learn to use AI as a creative partner when the ideas won't come. Then you'll master prompting: building your own library of reusable prompts and even using AI as a simulated audience to handle tough questions. Finally, you'll work on the thing no slide can fix — your voice. Using VoxCoachAI, an app that analyses your delivery in real time, you'll get personalized feedback on pacing, clarity, and presence, ending with a full keynote of your own.

It's built for professionals who pitch and present, and for students facing exams, theses, and interviews.

Stories move people. AI can help you tell yours better. The blank page doesn't have to win.
